The park &
recreation department has done an incredible job in preserving the
city’s natural beauty while improving many public facilities and
activity centers for people of all ages to enjoy. The downtown district
is filled with an eclectic mix of restaurants, specialty shops, delis,
cafes and boutique stores due to the region’s diverse population.
Additionally, such diversity has lent its hand to this community’s

past and present culture.
The Edison Festival of Light, Beach Shrimp Festival, March Shell Fair,
Seafood Festival and Ford Winter Home Gala are just a few of the many
social events this community hosts year in and year out. So, with all
this and more, it is easy to see why so many are proud to call Lehigh
